The Performance


Performed by a diverse and electrifying dance ensemble, Chelsea's can be described as 'a play without words', 'a live silent movie' or as 'a ballet performed to modern blues & swing'.  It offers up humor, style and passion as it follows the dreams of three restaurant employees (a Maitre' D, waitress and bartender) and interprets their fantasies through the art of dance and movement.

Storytelling thru Movement

Storytelling, in itself, is an ancient art, as is Dance.

tvg2     In many cultures... incidences, lives, accounts were handed down thru the generations, either verbally or non-verbally thru music, dance and movement.  This has always been an intriguing concept to me, especially nowadays, with so much being thrown in words via music, tv, internet, etc....  The simple act of telling a story has seemed lost to me, but i personally know that there are others that feel the same way as I do, and so I know I take comfort in knowing I am not alone.
